Dylan Hengy is a commissioned Michigan Notary Public authorized to perform notarial acts and civil marriage ceremonies in accordance with Michigan law. Services are provided strictly within the scope permitted by state regulations.

All ceremonies and notarial services are performed only when valid and complete documentation is presented as required by Michigan law. This includes, but is not limited to, government-issued identification and a valid Michigan marriage license. Services may be refused if documentation is incomplete, expired, or does not meet legal requirements.

Same-day marriage ceremonies are subject to availability and contingent upon the couple having all legally required documentation at the time of service. Availability is not guaranteed and may vary based on schedule and location.

In most cases, the couple is responsible for providing their own witness. Witness requirements are determined by Michigan law and must be met at the time of the ceremony.

Services are available in English and Spanish. While every effort is made to ensure clear communication, clients are responsible for confirming their understanding of all documents and proceedings.

Civil marriage ceremonies for foreign nationals may be performed only if all legally required documentation is presented and valid under Michigan law. Dylan Hengy does not provide immigration services or guarantee recognition of marriage outside the United States.

Dylan Hengy proudly officiates same-sex marriages in full compliance with federal and Michigan law. All couples are treated with professionalism, respect, and equality.

Travel services are available upon request. Clients are responsible for transportation, lodging, and any applicable travel expenses associated with off-site or long-distance ceremonies. Travel fees must be agreed upon in advance.

Dylan Hengy reserves the right to decline or discontinue services if legal requirements are not met, documentation is insufficient, or circumstances fall outside the scope of authorized notary or officiant duties.

 

Appointments may be canceled or rescheduled by the client with reasonable notice. Same-day or short-notice appointments are subject to availability and may not be guaranteed.

Clients are responsible for ensuring all required documentation is ready at the time of the appointment. Failure to present valid documentation may result in cancellation without refund.

 

Ceremonies are conducted in accordance with Michigan law. While couples may request personalization, any off-script requests must remain legally compliant.

Dylan Hengy reserves the right to modify or decline requests that:

• Conflict with Michigan law
   
• Compromise legal validity
   
• Are inappropriate, unsafe, or misleading
   
• Fall outside the scope of a civil ceremony or just forget
   

Dylan Hengy reserves the right to cancel, refuse, or discontinue services at any time for reasons including, but not limited to:

• Incomplete, invalid, or fraudulent documentation
   
• Failure to meet Michigan legal requirements
   
• Misrepresentation of identity or intent
   
• Unsafe, hostile, or inappropriate behavior
   
• Requests outside authorized notary or officiant duties
   
• Non-payment or disagreement regarding fees or travel expenses
   
• Circumstances beyond reasonable control (emergencies, weather, illness, travel disruptions)
   

In such cases, Dylaan Hengy shall not be held liable for consequential damages or losses.

 

Same-day marriage ceremonies are offered only when legally permitted and subject to availability. The presence of a valid Michigan marriage license, government-issued identification, and all legal requirements is mandatory. Same-day service is not guaranteed.

 

In most cases, clients are responsible for providing their own witness, as required by Michigan law. Failure to provide a witness when required may result in cancellation of services.

 

Mobile and travel services are available upon request. Clients agree to cover all transportation, lodging, parking, tolls, and related travel expenses. Travel fees must be agreed upon in advance. Failure to meet agreed travel arrangements may result in cancellation.

 

Marriage services for foreign nationals may be performed only if all legally required documentation is provided and valid under Michigan law. Dylan Hengy does not provide immigration services, visa advice, or guarantees regarding recognition of marriage outside the United States.

Liability is limited to the amount paid for services rendered.

 

Personal information collected (such as names, contact details, and appointment information) is used solely for service delivery and communication purposes.

Dylan Hengy does not sell, trade, or share personal information with third parties except when legally required.

Reasonable measures are taken to protect client data; however, no electronic transmission is guaranteed to be 100% secure.

Acceptance of Terms

By booking or receiving services, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms, Conditions, Disclosures, and Policies.
